The Grant Writing Committee of the New York Geographic Alliance will be meeting at Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY on Tuesday August 20, 2013. It will be a full-day meeting from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Our task is to find new sources of funding for the Alliance, allowing us to expand our initiatives and to make our strategic plan a reality. We will be working with our newly-hired grant writer, Margit Brazda Poirier of Grants4Good.
If you are a member of the New York Geographic Alliance, and you are interested in working with us, you are welcome to attend. Please email Tim McDonnell to let him know that you want to join this team or if you have any contacts for grant-funding that we should be aware of.
The Erie Canal Module is one of the initiatives of the New York Geographic Alliance that needs additional funding to be successful. This is the Richmond Aqueduct that crosses the Seneca River near Montezuma, New York.
