Geography Awareness

Week will be held on November 19 - 25, 2011. The theme this year is "Geography - the Adventure in Your Community." National Geographic has a new website packed with ideas of how you can celebrate geography in 2011 - http://www.geographicawarenessweek.org

Students can win badges in four different categories: Photography, Mapping, Taking Action, and Storytelling. The goal is get our classes outside to explore their own communities.
