FieldScope is a very powerful tool that uses friendly GIS to interpret watersheds, especially the Chesapeake and the Delaware. (There is also a version for the Great Lakes that is about to be fully functional soon). The NYGA uses this website to help us with our watershed training as part of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Initiative. We introduce it, but many of our teachers want more instruction. Your wish is now our command!
National Geographic would like to invite you to participate in a Webinar on November 5th from 4 - 5 PM where you can learn the basics of FieldScope. They will demonstrate the new mapping and graphing capabilities of FieldScope, how to query and filter data, and the additional data analysis tools. We will explain how to upload data, and how the new FieldScope could be useful in different settings.
This is a free webinar, but you need to register for it. Click on this link, and you will find the fields that you need to complete for the registration - http://bit.ly/19YGxB5
If you have any questionss about the webinar, please contact Matt Hyde at National Geographic. We encourage all the teachers that we have trained at our workshops to join this webinar. If you are thinking of going to a training, or you on participating in the FLOWe Online Course, you can also register.
